WEBINAR

Roadmap to Medicare

PLEASE NOTE REGISTRATION IN ADVANCE IS REQUIRED FOR CE CREDITS.
Please join us on Tuesday, March 14th at 9:00am, as our speaker Tracy Russo-Keesey provides a comprehensive overview of the important considerations that Human Resource Managers want to know about Medicare.  Specifically, it is a good opportunity to understand some of the risks with who should enroll in Medicare at age 65, and who can wait to enroll in Medicare until retirement.

Networking Session Following the Event for NY Metro Chapter Members Only: Please join fellow members
for a 20-minute virtual networking event following the conclusion of the education session. We will
transition the education session to meeting mode so chapter member may enjoy an opportunity to
reconnect on camera!

Some of the topics you’ll learn about at this session:
  • Differences between Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement
  • Are the elaborate benefit promises your employees see on TV true?
  • Why should employees that are over age 65 look into Medicare even if they will continue working?
  • Variables to consider when doing a cost analysis with GHP vs Medicare
  • Examples when it would be more beneficial for an employee/spouse to have Medicare rather than Group Health Plan (“GHP”)
  • Impacts of HSAs, COBRA and Severance coverage on employees/retirees over age 65
